Spinal stenosis is a narrowing of the spaces in the spine, which can put pressure on the nerves that travel through the spine. Spinal stenosis can occur in lower back and the neck. Some symptoms include pain in neck that can travel down arms or in back that can travel down legs. Patients may also experience numbness, tingling and muscle weakness in arms or legs. Spinal stenosis may be treated with epidural steroid injections.
